The Spanish ruled over Venezuela for over 3 centuries and they shaped the countries culture.
When the Spanish came the hoped to find riches, they found very little. So, they mad the natives do the work fro them.
Bolivar helped Venezuela gain independence. But when they found lots of oil the dictators took the money for themselves.
Venezuelans have descended from Indians, Europeans, and Africans and still use their ancestors old culture and the new culture picked up by new comers.
Most veninsulins make a living off of ranches farming and oil wealth
There are many different types of ranches and agriculture. One was the Llaneros and they herded cattle
