Hey I didn't do anything
I didn't do anything. Why won't they let me go?
Throughout the novel "Monster", the conflict has been used on page 71. Walter Dean Myers uses conflict to tell the audience that the protagonists, Steve Harmon didn't do anything to Mr. Nesbitt. Steve wanted to tell that yeah he hung around these dudes, but he didn't do anything. This story changed how he thinks because he he can become more than a guy that didn't know what the law can do. Steve became a guy that now knows what crowd to hang out with. At the end of the story the judge let Steve go.
You going to jail?
