  • For Only Kings should have gold, only the rich know what to do with it.
  • I will show you how gracious I can be by granting you a wish.
  • I LOVE GOLD!!!
  • "Unmagic it, then! I hate these roses." She began to cry...
  • He touched her hair, and he felt spikes start to form. He had turned his daughter into gold...
  • This is unfortunate. I'm sorry this happened. I have no time to be sad.
  • Everything he touches turns to gold...
  • Midas is a king who Love gold, he thinks that the poor and the rich should not be labeled the same. But one day he got to have one wish granted by a God named Appollo, he wished that everything he touched would turn to gold...
  • What good is all his gold if I can't eat or drink anything?!
  • Midas went crazy with is new power, he was changing everything, he even changed the roses. His daughter was so upset, she wanted the roses to turn back to normal. She started to cry and when Midas touched her hair, she turned to Gold! But Midas didn't mind.
  • " I repent. I will never desire gold again and I will never accuse the Gods.
  • On your knees, wretch! Do you Repent?
  • Midas reached down and changed everything back, but as a punishment gave Midas donkey ears!
  • Midas was so happy, everything he stepped on or touched or kicked was turning all to gold. The gravel he kicked up into the air was turning into golden nuggets, and even his throne he sat on turned to gold.
  • Midas got very hungry but knew if he touched his servants they would turn to gold. So he did not touch them, but when he got his food something happened that he did not expect. Every time he tried to eat, anything that touched his mouth was turning to gold... He ran to this hill to get Apollo's attention.
  • Midas got Apollo's attention and apologized and begged for the punishment to go away, because if he could't eat the power would be useless. Apollo forgave Midas but gave him a another punishment, Midas had to have donkey ears for the rest of his life....
  • No one knew about Midas's ears but his servant who cut is hair. But it soon got out, and after threatening to cut the servants head off, Midas forgave him. Apollo came down and told Midas that he had learned his lesson and that his donkey ears may go away.
  • I told you not to say anything, but everyone makes mistakes.. I forgive you and you may keep your head.
