  • Henry I, was king of England for 35 years, starting from 1100. this was a very long time to reign back then.he was well educated, and was the youngest of 4 sons. His parents thought he would be a bishop. He was the first probably Norman to speak fluent English.
  • Just married! I love you!

  • William had four sons and three daughters. The first son was Robert, then William Rufus, and then Henry. William chose was to split the kingdom in two for his eldest sons, but it is thought that Rufus was shot with an arrow. Robert had gone abroad, and Henry was king
  • I'm William. This is my sister Matilda. We are Henry's real children.

  • After Rufus was mysteriously killed, and Henry was crowned king, Robert and Henry never got along. It is thought that Robert was in the forest hunting with Rufus. In 1106 Henry invaded Normandy, defeated Robert, and imprisoned Robert to his death in 1134.

  • In November 1135, Henry fell ill from eating too many 'lampreys' (a type of eel) even though his doctor was against his choice. after his death on December 1st, he was buried in Reading Abbey. A time called Anarchy (1135-1153) begun to be the next ruler
