The natives attacked the men and all the boats left.
  • While in the Bay of Sam Bras the men befriended the locals. The natives brought hundreds of people, animals and music. Together the locals and the Portuguese danced and ate. There was a misunderstanding and the Portuguese had to leave because they almost got in a fight.
