Cupid & Psyche
Once upon a time there was a farmer who had three daughters.
Although Pysche was worshipped she was lonely.
Storybook adaptation by Mia & Sank.
Venus was so angry, she ordered her son cupid to order Psyche to marry an ugly beast.
The farmer's youngest daughter,Psyche, was very beautiful some say even more beautiful than the queen, Venus.
And to find her a husband, Psyche was sent away to the foot of the mountain where a beast shall find her.
As Psyche's beauty grew so did her followers, followers all over the land and some even from Venus's followers. Making Venus furious.
In the castle Psyche is happy. Psyche hears her husbands voice and feels his warmth. Psyche then falls madly in love.
But surprisingly, Psyche, although admired she is never loved and never marries. Unlike her sisters who are happily married.
And at the foot of the mountain Psyche cries, until a big wind carries her away to a beautiful castle where she eats tasty food and listens to beautiful music.
Until her sister's , jealous of Psyche's happiness, trick her into sneaking a look at her husband. Who said that if Psyche ever saw him they would be torn apart forever.
