  • Yes father I am ready to be just like you were.
  • I guess we'll have to see if the emperor is as pleased as you are.
  • Very good Marius I think you are ready to be on the battlefield.
  • I am very impressed Marius you have defeated the strongest GLADIATOR in Rome.
  • Marius and his father have made an agreement to start his training to become a Roman warrior. Marius was very excited because he wanted to make his father proud.

  • Amacadus we are very pleased that we get to fight with you and who knows maybe you'll be even better than your father.
  • After the agreement Marius an his father went to a valley near the TIBER RIVER to train. Marius had taken lessons from his father everyday until he had come of age to be able to join the army.

  • Marius decided to try and join the army by showing the emperor his skills that he had been taught. The emperor had brought the strongest GLADIATOR out in all of Rome Marius wasn't expecting this but had remembered what his father taught him about bigger enemies their bigger targets

  • After Marius had won the emperor's VETO on whether or not to be in the Roman army he went to the emperor had lead him to where the soldiers were eating dinner. The soldiers had greeted him kindly and proudly knowing how brave his father was as a soldier.
  • Later after dinner the soldiers had told Marius the war that they were at with Carthage and where they were headed to fight them after dinner Marius was ready for battle and glorious victory. Once they arrived at the battlefield Carthage had killed most of the men.
  • Marius would not let Rome lose the battle to Carthage and was ready to fight Marius had lead the Roman army by himself and had defeated Carthage so bad that it ended the PUNIC WARS. Later Marius was declared Chief of the Roman army.
