Hi my name Ella
12/19/16 These are some questions my class came up with and I hope you can answer them doctor. How does the human body work? How many diseases are in the world and what diseases is the worst? How big is the human brain? How do people get Cancer? How does the heart work? How many bones do kids and adults have? From: Ella, Frank, Paige, Albert, Molly and Christopher :)
Those are some good questions and I have good answers. The human body is made up of organs that are part of organ systems. Your body has 11 body systems. There are 30,000 diseases in the world but there is still many to discover. The worst diseases is Ebola.
The human brain Your brain is about 15 centimeters long but it depends if you are a kid or adult . A adults brain can weigh about 3 pounds. But a newborn baby's brain would weigh 350 to 400 grams 3 quarters of a pound. Did you know if you stretch out your brain it would measure 2 meters long!
People get cancer if a relative has cancer you are most likely to get cancer as well. Some behavior and environmental triggers can cause change in the body cells and push them in a cancerous state. Your heart is divided in 2 pumps and they work together. Your heart gets rid of the carbon dioxide and recharges it with oxygen. Did you know that your heart beats 2.5 billion times in your lifetime.
At birth you have 270 bones in your body but when you grow up you have 206 bones in your body. You have less when you grow because your bones start to fuse together and the bone becomes one single bone. hope this answers your questions
