king Louis XVI and his queen, Marie Antoinette came into power
Under their rule the French lost money from extravagant spending and wars over seas.
Meanwhile, the people of France were starving. They had no food and the food they did have was expensive.
Fed up the people of France raided the Bastille and killed many soldiers in the process. The revolution had begun.
Both Marie Antoinette and King Louis were killed during this evolution
Soon after a French military General took political control of France. He Got rid of corrupt officials, opened schools, and reformed taxes. He set France on the right path.
