  • Myth 4: Athena
  • If Metis has a boy, you will be overthrown!!!!
  • I'm far to great to be overthrown.
  • Zeus eats Metis. He hopes that this will solve the problem of him being overthrown.
  • Eating my problems is the best solution!!
  • As time goes, Zeus starts to suffer from a horrible headache. It continues to get worse until it is a splitting headache.
  • My Head hurts SOOOOOO bad!
  • Zeus talks Hephaistos into chopping his head open to relieve his headache.
  • Silly boy! I'm a god, I cannot die!
  • But you'll die if I chop your head open!
  • Okay....I'll do it.
  • When Hephaistos chopped Zeus's head open, out sprung a small armored goddess named Athena. She was yelling a battle cry as she sprung from her father.
  • That feels so much better!
  • GRRRR AHHHA HAHAH
  • AHHH! What is that?
  • Athena rapidly grew until she was full size. She begame the goddess of cleverness and battle strategy, and she was also Zeus's favorite child.
