  • John Adams was the first vice president, then he won president against Thomas Jefferson, his enemy.

  • His dad went to Harvard to become a lawyer so Adams followed in his footsteps. He got into Harvard and went there for 4 years until he graduated to be a lawyer.
  • Conclusion
  • He was a member (along with Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Robert Livingston and Roger Sherman) chosen to draft the Declaration of Independence.
  • Due to his strong posture on defense, Adams is "often called the father of the American Navy ". 
  • Over all, John Adams deserved to be President  because of all of his acheivments.
