My notes are sometimes angry or passive with the author, others are only things I wish I could say to the characters.
Students only note what they need, but others you can tell really enjoy the book.
We make margins our own with our pens to prove we have our own thoughts about what we read.
Anyone reading a book they like, will leave their thoughts through the pages, like a monk interpreting the gospel.
And as I read Catcher in the Rye, I came across a note written on the page, that only deepened my loneliness...
And it bothered me that I would never be able to see the beautiful girl who wrote, "Pardon the egg salad stains, but I'm in love."
