- It's a good thing we traveled next to the shore.
- Finally here!! Traveling is hard for us Greeks! But gladly we were traveling by boat! Its a lot faster than land.
- We need to speak to the oracle first.
- So many hills that my Dad flattened his farm out by adding more dirt! Thank goodness now we can eat our yummy food! Olive oil is Mom's specialty. We can't have cattle because of the hills but instead we can have goats and sheep.
- This land needs water.

- When there was too may people to feed the Greeks had to think fast! We need to split up into colonies and find a new place for food!
- I love sailing on merchant ships. Our Greek sailors race along at five miles per hour to trade goods. We traded olive oil and pottery for metal and wood.
