Storyboard Text

  • Introduction
  • I'm the fastest animal in this forest
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • He'll never catch me!
  • Your not that fast, I bet even I can beat you in a race!
  • It was an average day for a group of animals hanging out in the woods. Until the hare showed up being arrogant as usually and letting everyone know that he is better than they are.
  • Climax
  • The tortoise had just about enough of all this talking and said "You always talk about how fast you are but I bet you couldn't even beat a tortoise like me". The rabbit accepted the challenge and knew he'd not have a problem with this task
  • Falling Actions
  • The animals set up a marker for the finish line and gets the racers ready. The race begins and the hare immediately bolts way past the start and never looks back.
  • Theme
  • WHAT!?!?! HOW?!?!
  • The hare is getting very tired from sprinting the long distance so he decides to take a little break to let the tortoise catch up because at this point it was obvious who would win this race.
  • After laying down for about 15 minutes the hare thinks to himself that maybe he'd have time to squeeze in a short nap because the tortoise still wasn't in sight over the long stretch. So the rabbit falls asleep without a worry.
  • Little does the rabbit know but he won't be taking a short nap and it ended up being almost an hour long and in this time the tortoise passes the finish line and celebrates his victory before he even woke up. So the lesson of this story is to take your time with things because slow and steady wins the race.
