Then Mr Drevermen said with a soft voice “we left the room how it was” He was still standing at the door. “MURDER” I muttered under my breath. I started to pace back and forth. “Can you tell Mr Drevermen, what was Mr Robeson doing here this weekend” “He was here celebrating the birthday of Kathrynne Reese” replied Mr Drevermen.
. “And what was the relation between Mr Robeson and Ms Reese”. “They were friends, well sort of, you see Mr Robeson borrowed 5 thousand dollars from Ms Reese and used it all in gambling. He said that he was going to pay her back but never, did and now he can’t because he is dead
I said, “Thank you for that Mr Dreverman, you can leave now.” After he left I investigated the scene although nothing out of the ordinary was found.
MICHAEL ROBESON JANICE REESE DANIEL GIDDY
The next day I woke up quite early at 7:30. I went downstairs and into the city to have breakfast. After breakfast I went back to the hotel and saw Mr Drevermen sitting in one of the lobby chairs.
I went up to him “Good morning Mr Drevermen, how are you?” I asked, “Hello inspector, I’m doing quite alright considering what has been going on. How about you?” “I’m doing well thank you. I was wondering if you could tell me who else was here for Ms Reese’s birthday.” Mr Drevermen waited a moment before answering, to think about what I had just asked “I do have the party list in my pocket if you want me to give it to you?” “Yes, please” I said quickly.
Out of his pants pocket he pulled out a neatly folded up piece of paper and gave it to me. As I unfolded it, I found 3 names on the list; Michael Robeson, Janice Reese, Daniel Giddy. “Janice is the sister of Kathrynne and Daniel is one of Kathrynne’s closest friends, although he doesn’t like Michael very much”. Said Mr Drevermen. “And why exactly does Daniel Giddy not like Michael?” I asked with curiosity. “I am not sure, but you can ask him yourself if you wish.”
