When Moses was born the King had set out a rule that the firstborn israelite babies would be killed. Moses' mother put Moses in a basket and floated him down the Nile river because she didn't want to lose her son.
Moses was found by the Kings daughter. She took him back to the palace where he grew up as an egyptian, although Moses always felt different, like an isrealite.
Moses went to another land so he did not have to see his people being treated so badly. One day when Moses was looking after a flock of sheep something amazing happened. Moses saw a burning bush, he was scared, but then God spoke to him and told him what he had to do.
Moses told the King that if he didn't free the hebrews God would send 10 plagues upon the king, but the King didn't listen and the plagues were set upon the Kingdom. After the plagues were set upon the Kingdom the King finally agreed to set them free.
The King changed his mind once more, and decided to go after Moses. Moses prayed to God and he parted the Red Sea for the people to cross.
The people crossed the sea and made it home with the guidance of Moses.
