Storyboard Text

  • Joan of Arc, was a 13 year old peasant, when god talked to her. She was working in the garden when a angel named Micheal. Micheal told her to be a nice girl and obey her parents. He also told her fight with the French and defeat the English.
  • God is that you!? You want me to fight with French and beat the English.
  • Before Joan left home to go fight with the French, she dressed like a boy. She cut her hair and put on men's clothing. Once she found the French she told them about her visions. Then she was put in prison by the French because they thought she was a witch. 
  • Then Charles, the leader of the French army, came to see her. They never met but she saw him in her visions. So she recognized him and they believed her so she was released.
  • Then Joan led a army of 200 hundred men. They went to go fight the English at the Orleans, which the had under siege for six months. As Joan predicted she was shot by a arrow at her chest. Then she pulled it out and kept fighting. After that the English captured her. 
  • They put her on trial but did not win. She was arguing with the English and the crowd loved her aggresion. She told them about her visions from god and burned her at the stakes because they thought she was a wich.
  • Joan is remembered for saving France and her bravery . 22 years later her vision came true about the English being driven out of France.  Then they reopened her case and was declared a saint 1920.
