Myop was a young girl who liked to wander around her parent's farm and nearby forest. She carried a stick around and picked up flowers, ferns, nuts, and leaves.
However, this day was different. Usually, her mother would bring her to places, but today she was going alone on her own path. She wanted to explore things for herself.
At first, Myop's exploration was running smoothly, as she found many different types of flowers. The deeper she walked into the woods, however, the darker things seemed to get.
Myop then found herself wanting to go back. This part of the woods was cloaked in silence. The trees seemed to curve in odd shapes.
Attempting to run back, something slightly startled her. She had walked into a skull, and encountered an entire skeleton. Also, she spotted pieces of rope in a tree in on the ground, where a wild rose grew.
Piecing the parts together, Myop figures out that a man of her race had died here, and was presumably hung. Sorrowful, she places down her flowers, including the wild rose, and now has a memory that has changed young Myop forever.
