Julie: Most of the time when I wanted to be alone I would climb and sit on the sycamore tree. It always was so cool because you could see the whole world from this tree.
Julie: The best part about the sycamore tree was sometimes you could even see the sunset.
Julie: I loved the sycamore tree, it was like it was a part of me. The sycamore tree had even impacted having Bryce ask me for help getting his kite down. I had always thought that the sycamore tree would be there forever but I was wrong. One day my life fell apart.
Julie: What do you mean you are cutting down this tree!! Worker: The property owner wants us to cut down the tree because he is building a house and does not want this ugly tree to be in the way.
Julie: I remember we were getting ready to board the school bus to go to school. There were a ton of workers with chainsaws and they were getting ready to cut down MY SYCAMORE TREE!!!!!! I remember I decided to climb all the way to the highest point of the tree and would not get down. I refused to let them cut the tree down. I even asked Bryce and everyone else to help me stop them. Of course no one listened and boarded the bus. I started to cry. It wasn't till my dad came and told me it was time to go. I remember I had no choice. I cried for weeks.
After I had managed to barley recover from the incident, my dad had a surprise for me. He had painted me the sycamore tree for me to remember. I was so happy because now I wouldn't have to be as sad anymore. I was finally going to make it.
