  • Hi! My name is Lennie.
  • Thoughtful
  • But I wouldn't eat none , George. I'd leave it all for you.
  • When I  think of the swell time I could have without you, I go nuts.
  • Forgetful
  • What you gonna say tomorrow when the boss asks you questions? 
  • I ... I ain't gonna ... say a word.
  • "'Him and me was both born in Auburn. I knowed his Aunt Clara. She took him when he was a baby and raised him up. When his Aunt Clara died, Lennie just come along with me out workin'. Got kinda used to each other after a while.'" (Steinbeck 40)
  • Curley
  • S'pose he don't want to talk?
  • "Lennie still knelt. He looked off into the darkness across the river. 'George, you want I should go away and leave you alone?'" (Steinbeck 12)
  • The House
  • "Lennie choked with pride. 'I can remember,' he said." (Steinbeck 15)
