At this point, students will pretend to be Sarah and John. They are asked to discuss between themselves the dished they can see on the menu, the variety of drinks available and ask each other what they are going to order. When they decide, they have to call the waiter and order their food and drinks.
Meet John and Sarah. They are friends and classmates who have decided to go outside for lunch on a nice sunny Sunday. They met outside Sarah`s house and had to decide to which restaurant they will go.
The two teenagers took a long time thinking of the best place to go for lunch until they took a decision and went to the favorite restaurant of Sarah`s mother, called "Ask Italian".
The two friends were seated on a nice table in the restaurant. The waiter gave them the menu to choose from the various delicious dishes.
Decision has been taken and the waiter is waiting to take the order. Now students have to speak with the waiter, order their, drinks and wait for the food to be served. Students will be provided with useful expressions they might wish to use for communication.
Lunch is over. The two friends (students) had a lovely time together. It is time to ask for the waiter for the bill, pay it and leave the restaurant.
