in this picture the mitochondria in the cell is yellow. in the process of respiration the mitochondria takes in glucose and oxygen to make energy. in the process the waste is carbon dioxide and water.
in photosynthesis you need chlorophyll to make food for the plant. the chlorophyll in the picture are green. to make food for the plant they need sunlight,carbon dioxide, and water. these items will enter the chlorophyll and it will make food for the plant. the waste product of this process is oxygen.
