It was my first semester of college, and I was ready to take on any challenge. Chemistry was one of those that I was determined to overcome and get an "A" in.
Uhoh, better hit the library.
This is one of the hardest classes you'll take. Make sure to study because over half of the people in this room will fail.
I never had to study like this ever before! 3 to 4 hours each day, plus class! I'm getting all the practice questions right.... I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Every day, I went to the library to go over the notes and do homework. After all of this, I still failed my first two tests.
Can you help me? My final is in a week and I really need help. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, and my teacher doesn't help.
Sure! That's what tutors are for! I'll help you go over the problems he said that would be on the exam. That way you have something to follow while practicing.
The next day before the exam, I studied all day. A frustrated, I thought I was doing alright. I was getting the problems right and I understood them more.
What?!?!? 6/24!!! Oh my goodness!
After all my hard work, I still got 6 questions out of 24 right. I never cried so much in my life... I had failed the class. Although something from the past, I learned what I was made of. Even though I didn't pass, I learned what my "all" was in the phrase "give it your all". I never had to study so hard in my life and I gave every waking moment to that class,
