Did you know that the Great compromise was an agreement that large and small states reached during the constitutional convention of 1787 that in part defined the legislative structure and representation that each state would have under the United Staes.
Really wounder how that happened?
The number of people in the second house-House of Representatives-would be based on the population of each state.
In the first house-Senate-each state would have equal representation.
But how many people were there in each state?!
