  • Hi I'm Jip!
  • I'm their lunatic but you can call me Put.
  • Conflict
  • slave catcher- I got you now! Jip- No you don't.
  • poor Sheldon.
  •                                       Rising actions
  • Sheldon!!!!!!!!
  • I'm sorry for your loose.
  • some main charcters in Jip are  Jip, Sheldon, Mr.Lyman, Wilkens family, Ms. Stevens, Put, Teacher, Brackett boys, slave catcher, members of the poor farm. The setting of the story is on a poor farm in Vermont in mid 1800's before the civil war. 
  • Climax
  • Nope keep going straight until you see a road then turn around and go left!
  • The main conflict is when Jip learns that his mother is a slave, which means that he is a slave then he knows that the slave catcher is trying to chase him down and capture him, but that is difficult for the slave catcher because there is no evidence to support that Jip is a slave.
  • Falling Actions
  • Nope sir I can't say I have. -Luke Stevens
  • The rising action is when Sheldon dies from working at the Quarry and getting smashed by rocks and dying. This is the rising action because Jip's life just got turned around.
  • Resolution
  • NO you won't, there is no evidence on him being your property! -teacher
  • The climax in the story is when Jip and Put run away from the poor farm and try not  to get caught by the slave-catcher and become a slave.
  • is it break time yet?
  • The falling action is when Jip reaches the Stevens house and sees the carriage pull up into their driveway.
  • Have you seen a boy, around the age of 12, dirty, looks like he hasn't bathed in a while? -slave catcher
  • The resolution is when the teacher and the sheriff talk to the slave-catcher about how there is no evidence to support that Jip is the slave-catchers property.
  • PPUUTT!
