William is always a strange boy. Never wanting to take part in games with other children. Even in the wonders Lunar mountains where anything is possible, he would prefer to sit alone or explore the words of Moonacre Lodge.
The parents of William explained to their neighbors and relatives his oddness was a result of his superior intelligence, but deep down they knew it was something more. When William would come home with stories of the boy in the woods and how the boy was his best friend, they knew he made it past the point of sanity.
William attended school in Boston and became a tradesman. He became very rich and bought a lovely modern home with his new wife Evelyn Blackthorn. He had just received news that his childhood friend from the woods had just finished school as well and is now married to a beautiful young woman.
The Great Depression hit spot hit Boston. William lost everything in the trade market I went into bankruptcy and he was unable to pay his debt. His parents passed away due to the play and the only family he had left was his wife
As the pleague started to whind down and William was days away from losing his beautiful home, he found out that his wife has been having an affair with a rich man. Because of all the changes to his life, he decided to return to the only place he has left; Moonacer Lodge.
When will you finally comes home to let your man or your member that his best friend from the woods is also back to you to marriage problems. He immediately sprint into the woods and looks up to the full moon and turned around to look at his shadow. " So my old friend," he says, " I thought I may never see you again."
