  • Friar Lawrence try's to discourage Paris from marrying Juliet so soon, to prevent Juliet from not escaping with Romeo. Friar Lawrence gives Juliet a sleeping potion so that everyone but Romeo thinks she is dead on her and Paris's wedding day.
