  • THE CARBON CYCLE BY: MATT MITSCH, SOPHIA MANOR,
  • One day Sophia and Matt were in Mr. Holzer's classroom and wanted to learn about the carbon cycle, he then showed them this great educational comic
  • PHOTOSYNTHESIS energy (sunlight) + 6CO2 + H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2
  • Animals obtain carbon by consumption from the plants that underwent the process of photosynthesis
  • The camel releases Carbon back into the atmosphere through respiration, after receiving the carbon from the leaves that underwent photosynthesis
  • Camel becomes deceased and starts to decompose. Carbon goes back into ground and creates fossil fuels.
  • The fossil fuels that the camel produced in decomposition are extracted and later used as a source of flammable material. Carbon dioxide is then released back into the air.
