Homer P. Figg
Homer P. Figg is a brave young man that envies his uncle Squint who is mean and disrespectful to him. He lives on a ranch with his uncle after both is parents died. Hed has now ran away to get his brother out of the army that his uncle made him go too.
Harold Figg is a newly soldier in the book because his mean cruel uncle Squint forced him to go to the army. He is brave but also worried at the same time because he no had to go to the army under age and with no experience. He has no clue his brave brother is on the way to come to his rescue and for them to be together again at once.
Squint is a horrible uncle with no common sense and has a mind of a 1 year old. He has treated his nephews with no respect and is a crazy man. He sent his nephew to the army under age. He has to get under control and be a responsible adult.
