Today we will be learning about the mineral, Kyanite
Kyanite a mineral. This mineral has a few uses such as, to strengthen porcelain and molds for high temperature metals
Kyanite has a hardness of 6.5-7. This means it is much harder than talc or Feldspar-Plagiclasse but not as hard as diamonds or Quartz
Kyanite is a metamorphic rock wich means it can take high temerature and it was madified by heat
The look of this mineral is often called "vititous" or "pearly" some of the colors it comes in are blue, white, gray, green, or it can be colorless. The crystal shape in this mineral is Tri-clinic.
