  • I am hurt. A plague o' both houses! I am sped. Is he gone and hath nothing?
  • 3.2
  • O God, did Romeo's hand shed Tybalt's blood?
  • 3.3
  • Ha, banishment? Be merciful, say "death," For exile hath more terror in his look, much more than death.
  • A fight breaks out and Mercutio is killed along with Tybalt. Romeo then gets exiled from Verona.
  • 3.4
  • O' Thursday, tell her, she shall be married to this noble earl.
  • Juliet talks to her nurse about the fight. Juliet mistakes that Romeo is dead when in reality he killed Tybalt.
  • 3.5
  • Hang thee, young baggage, disobedient wretch!
  • Romeo states that being exiled is the worst thing to happen to him and the Friar tries to make Romeo feel grateful.
  • Juliet's father arranges a marriage between Juliet and a man by the name of Paris.
  • Juliet tells her father that she does not want to marry Paris because of her love for Romeo. Her father gets very angry with this.
