I will be going away for 2 weeks. Here is 500 dollars just in case. Mrs. Andropolis will check in on you every so often, so make sure to tell her where you go. I'm going to pack.
No way! I'm going to be by myself for 2 weeks?!
Here some extra money just in case I get delayed coming back.
Okay... this is definitely a dream.
Tomorrow morning, Jim Richmond will personally be transporting live strains of smallpox virus to Switzerland, where he'll be selling the virus to black market arms dealers. Then he will kill your father in Brussels. After, he will kill you
One day my dad walked into the kitchen and told me that he had to leave for 2 weeks. I couldn't believe my luck. 2 weeks with no adult supervision! Other than of course, Mrs. Andropolis. But she's a nice lady, and even thinks that my father is too hard on me. So, I'll be fine. But it is a little suspicious. My father usually doesn't trust me with anything, and he never gives me so much as 20 dollars. Hmmmmm...
In about an hour, a taxi pulled up to the front of the house, so I knew that my dad was actually going away. After he stumbled down the stairs with his suitcase, he surprised me even further. He reached into his pocket and pulled out another 200 bucks. Apparently, it was "just in case he got delayed coming back," but I didn't believe it. A week ago he wouldn't give me money to go to the movies, and now he's given me enough to buy myself a new phone! I don't understand this new behavior, but I like it!
After my dad left, my best friend Ruben, and my girlfriend Erika came over to my house, and we were just sitting around and talking. All of a sudden, the phone rang. I immediately marched over and answered. A guy started speaking. He told us that my dad's business partner Jim would be transporting some of the smallpox virus that they worked with in their company to terrorists, and that after he would kill my dad, my friends, and I. Before I could respond, the guy hung up. This was definitely unexpected. We immediately started planning our adventure.
