Storyboard Text

  • Romulus & Remus
  • Once upon a time, Rhea Siliva married Mars, the Roman god of war. Together, they had 2 children: Romulus and Remus.
  • But Rhea had to send her children down the river, because the other Gods were threatening to hurt or even kill them.
  • When they got to the end of the river, a she-wolf found them and looked after them. Eventually, a shepherd named Faustulus found them and looked after them himself.
  • They grew up like shepherds. One day, the boys discovered who they really were and they decided to build a city on the Tiber River where the she-wolf found them.
  • They could not decide who would be king of the city, so Romulus killed Remus with a rock and became king of Rome.
