Vivien T. Thomas was a key player in pioneering and anastmosis. He was also an assistant of to Alfred Blalock a surgeon. Having an education up to high, school he was able to get above the complications of poverty and the racism of the time and rose to be a cardiac surgery pioneer.
however that was not the only thing he was known for, he also contributed to the figuring out of the to blue baby syndrome
there must be a way to find a cure for the blue baby syndrome
With enough time he was able to find a way to cure blue baby syndrome as well as devices that would help with the procedure like a clamp that would ,for a time, serve as a temporary occlusion of the pulmonary artery. However he did not get the credit for it until a bit after he had gotten the cure. By a bit I mean a while. links:https://docs.google.com/document/d/12aqktzAm6zqGIbsP5sg-2KVclRyZUXefqEKE6LTSUV8/edit
