Storyboard Text

  • Mom, why are we poor?
  • Because, we have no luck.
  • I need to gain luck to make my mother rich and for her to finally love me...
  • The Rocking Horse Winner.
  • Daffodil will win!
  • Paul lived with his two sisters and his mother. They were poor and his mother blamed that on their bad luck.
  • Paul, please stop!
  • Paul got a rocking horse and he thought if he rode it, he would gain luck. So he rode his horse until he had his luck.
  • Haven't I ever told you I was lucky, mother?
  • One day Paul's Uncle Oscar took him to a horse race and Paul predicted that Daffodil would win. Paul was right and they won money.
  • Paul kept rocking on his horse and did not stop. He made his final prediction and fell off the horse.
  • Paul's last prediction was correct and they won their biggest winning yet. Poor Paul died soon after.
