  • I am settled, and bend up. Each corporal agent to this terrible feat.
  • Before the murder, Macbeth was debating about going through with the murder but was convinced my Lady Macbeth that it was still a go idea. He feels conflicting emotions, that maybe he shouldn't do it but in the end, the side of him that wants to do murder wins
  • Away, and mock the time with fairest show: False face must hide what false heart doth know
  • Thou marshell'st me the way that I was going, And such an instrument I was to use! ... Thou sure and firm-set earth, Hear not my steps, which way they walk for fear They very stones prate of my whereabout, And take the present horror from the time, Which now suits with it. Whiles I threat, he lives: Words to the heat of deeds too cold breath gives.
  • After the murder though, Macbeth starts to have doubts and feels remorseful. He starts to regret what he has done and doesn't even want to go back into the room  to frame the servants. 
  • I'll go no more: I am afraid to think what I have done; Look on't again I dare not. ... No; this my hand will rather The multitudinous sea incarnadine, Making the green one red
  • Infirm of purpose! Give me the daggers: the sleeping Are as but pictures; 'tis the ye of childhood That fears a painted devil. If he do bleed, I'll guide the faces of the grooms withal, For it must seem their guilt
  • To know my deed, 'twere best not know myself
