  • This is Dad explaining why they are going to the Milbury's party and his expectations for the family. His job is extremely important to him, so this means a lot.
  • "I need ten minutes of face time with Brice, and then we can leave. I expect everyone to be on their best behavior" (Anderson, 9)
  • This describes Yoda's locker room experience. Chip and his friends have Yoda cornered and Tyler has come to help. 
  • "You're a chicken, I said, a coward" (Anderson, 71)
  • "This is the wrong place" (Anderson, 72)
  • "Aren't you going to flatten him?" (Anderson, 72)
  • This shows Tyler turning Bethany down at the party. This makes her very angry but Tyler did the right thing in the end.
  • "You know I really like you and I want to be with you, but...not like this" (Anderson, 126)
  • "I can't believe you're blowing me off" (Anderson, 126)
  • "Why is Tyler the only one being singled out?"
  • This scene shows how Tyler's isolation in school begins. His parents are not on board with the idea at first, as shown in the scene. All quotes from the scene have the same citation (Anderson, 166)
  • "We want to protect him from students who may not yet understand the concept of innocent until proven guilty".
  • "I must admit, I'm a little confused".

  • Tyler's new school life in isolation is very boring and uneventful. "I must have nodded off doing calculus, chair leaning against the wall, arms crossed over my chest, thin strand of drool on my chin." (Anderson, 177)

  • "You're sure, you're not going to come back next week and say you changed your mind?"(Anderson, 230)
  • This final slide shows Tyler's innocence being proven. He is not arrested for the photos and is no longer accused.
  • "We arrested a student from Forestdale this morning for all crimes associated with the photographs taken of Bethany Milbury". (Anderson, 229)
