I am off to time travel to the time of the Silk Road. I want to learn about what people traded, culture, and more
This is the start of the Silk Road at Rome. It extends all the way to china and it is a trading route. Many things got traded there but the it was also there for cultural diffusion. It helped spread many cultures and ways of how people lived.
Hello, Where am I
You are in Rome. The beginning if the Silk Road
Many things on the Silk Road were traded. Cotton, Silk(most often traded), dishware, glassware . Many foods were traded too like pineapples, apples, melons and more.
Cultural Diffusion was an important part of the Silk Road. As you can see here, a Chinese person is doing business with a Roman person.
The Silk Road extended for a long distance. It started mostly in Rome then extended to China. It had an eastern way and the western way. They were both dangerous because the eastern way had many deserts and the western one had many mountains.
Phew! All the rats are gone. That was a fun trip, I learned a lot about the Silk Road.
