  • Bullying is being habitually cruel to others who are weaker, in the hope that the other person responds in fear or anger. Can be physical, verbal, nonverbal or through technology.

  • Show them you are not sad and scared, Walk away, concentrate on thinking about something else, and yelling STOP and walk away,
  • 3 facts about bullying.
  • Mental/Emotional- depression and doing poorly in school. Social- No friends, stop hanging out with friends and family. Physical- Bruises and suicide.

  • Physical Bullying- Using force (kicking, punching, pushing) to hurt or harm another individual.
  • Verbal Bullying- Taunting, swearing, gossiping or spreading lies about another person.

  • Non-Verbal Bullying- Giving an individual the silent treatment, dirty looks, or excluding them from a group.
  • Cyber Bullying- Using technology such as internet and cell phones to spread rumors; posting inappropriate comments, pictures or videos; or sending hurtful messages to or about another person.
