I am Hannibal! I am considered one of the most brilliant generals that the Romans have ever faced.
Hannibal lead many elephants and soldiers through the Alps and lost more than half, but was still victorious against the Romans during the first two years of war.
The last and greatest victory for Hannibal was the Battle Of Cannae.
The Romans refused to admit defeat and chose new and more capable generals to fight the Carthaginians. One of them was Cornelius Scipio. Hannibal was waiting in Italy for his reinforcements to arrive from Spain. The Romans prevented this by killing Hannibal's brother in battle.
Taking Hannibal's battle strategy, Scipio drove the Carthaginians out of Spain, and proceeded to invade Africa. Also battling the city of Carthage itself. This forced Hannibal to leave Italy and meet Scipio in a battle in Zama. Scipio won a great and final victory over Hannibal.
