  • James Booker was born James Carroll Booker the third in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 17, 1939. He began taking piano lessons when he was ust siz years old. He studied and tried to perfect the art of Frederic Chopin and Johann Sebastian. After, as a pre-teen he would play live on broadcasts, for the New Orleans Radio Center. Then withtime and practice he became one of the bestpiano pllayer in history.
