This rough draft is taking FOREVER! I keep losing my train of thought every time I read it back to myself. I always find a better word to use, but now, I'm behind.
Finished that history paper in record time. Especially after I stopped editing as I went along!
So that's her secret! Use the monitor when editing, not while in the rough draft phase!
I'm so glad I implemented a new strategy. Free writing during the rough draft allowed me to focus on meaning rather than form.
