American families: Then and Now
Josh Frisch block 5 Mrs. Kriner
Typically, American families in 1945 to now were what you call nuclear families. They consisted of a set of parents and their children.
Families now tend to be Blended families and sometimes have boomerang kids.
The important decisions are not from just the man, but from both parents.
The parents are usually both out of home workers instead of the "stay at home mom" like it was in the past. bringing in more economic wealth needed to survive now.
