  • This paw is very dangerous better off if we let it burn in the fire.
  • Reminds me of the Arabian Nights.
  • Doesn't even work.
  • How does it work.
  • Rising Action
  • I wish for 200 pounds.
  • The White's house was dark and it was rainy outside. Mr. White and Herbert were playing chess while Mrs. White was knitting.
  • Climax
  • Sergeant Major Morris arrives at the White's house with the monkey's paw. He spends most of his time explaining the paw and then suggests throwing it in the fire.
  • Falling Action
  • Mr. White quickly grabbed the paw out of the fire. Sergeant Major Morris gave the family so many warnings about the harm the paw can cause, but Mr. White didn't care. Then Herbert suggests to wish for 200 pounds. After the first wish Herbert dies in an accident and Mrs. White makes a second wish which is for Herbert to come back.
  • Resolution
  • Wa wa wa wa where is he.
  • After Herbert's death Mrs. white couldn't sleep and she woke up Mr. White. Mr. White hesitates to wish, as he wished a knocking on the door came, but then...
  • I wish.............
  • Mrs. White approaches the door then Mr. White ran upstairs looking for the paw and breathed his last wish.
  • The knocking ceased suddenly and Mrs. White saw no one outside.
