  • El Cristo Rey
  • Mazatlan
  • Nogales
  • El Cristo Rey is where Victor got money from a Priest and Victor sees it as a sign. He sees it as a sign because his dad had gotten money like that when he was younger. The church was called El Cristo Rey. Victor went to that church alone.
  • Mountains
  • In Mazatlan Victor meets Julio and they travel with each other to get to El Norte. But then Julio went on the tube to get to the tunnel. On this train Victor fell asleep and then he had to jump out of the train. Once he jumped out he cracked his head open
  • Sasabe
  • This is a border town where Julio leaves Victor and then Victor finds Miguel again. After Victor is deported he winds up back here. Nogales is where Victor got deported back too once he got caught. This is where Rico and Victor found eachother.
  • Dayton Washington
  • Victor and Miguel hike the mountains to cross the border to earn money. This is where Miguel gets caught by Border Patrol. Once he got caught Victor ran. In the mountains Victor kept on thinking that someone was watching him while he was walking in the mountains alone. He would think as if he was Miguel.
  • Victor and Rico run into the Mosquito and he offered then to sell out drugs. Victor said no and Rico didn't say anything he just thought. Rico told Victor that they were just getting a ride to somewhere. But really Rico tricked Victor into selling out drugs with him.
  • Rico got onto a bus to live with his sister in Silao. He wanted to leave the United States because he missed his family and didn't like field work. Victor stayed in Washington. His plans for the future was too work in the fields and send money back to his family.
