  • My parents are first generation, they were born both in Afghanistan, Kabul and this is where they met each other they decided to get married in Canada because its more safe and there is no war and they can live in a nice house.
  • Airplane
  • My parents never had a good place to sleep also food and water, they thought of going to Canada because they had education food and water but in Afghanistan if you were a girl and wanted to go to school they would kill you so they had decided to go to Canada.
  • India
  • They notice they did not have enough money so they decided to see how far they can get and hope to find a job because in Kabul they did not have any jobs so they decided to leave and hopefully meet my family in Canada, Toronto.
  • India
  • They decides to leave Afghanistan because there was lots of war and you were always scared, no education for girls or you would be killed if you go, if you get sick or injured there was no health care. They wanted to go to Canada because it was safe no war and gun and explosions, free healthcare so if you were to be sick you could go to a walk in clinic, there were rights so girls could go to school for free.
  • They noticed they had enough money to go to India so they needed to start working and really they did not know how to speak English so my mother decided to go to a place where they teach you Indou so she can find a job and work.
  • My mother and father both found a job and after two years of working they still did not have enough money to move and so they wrote a letter to the government for help saying they wanted to move to Canada for health care and education and the government said okay and gave them enough money to get to Canada.
