This storyboard does not have a description.
I'm sorry honey, this place isn't safe anymore*cough cough*Now pack up your stuff, and you can only bring one toy with you.
Daddy, where are we going?
The father is telling his daughter that they have to leave their home because the state they are in is no longer safe because of the bad toxic air that comes from war not to far away from where they live, and that she must only bring her clothes and one toy(that toy being her only childhood left), while her mother is taking moving boxes to the car.
Here the little girl is looking at her now empty room, remembering the times her friends had sleepovers and helped each other with 2nd grade homework.
Makayla is confused and is still trying to process the information her father gives her. Echoing his words inside her head.
Makayla is now riding her car to her uknown destination. Staring out the window, with tears in her eyes, she thinks of all the things she will be leaving behind, including where she grew up in and her childhood friends.
while on their way to their destination, they get in a tragic car accident due to the smoke in the air, and end up losing the father
A month later, the mom is no longer able to work and cannot gain enough money for an apartment, and is forced to live in a homeless shelter, and share a room along with two other people, for the sake of her daughter. The war has made the air contagious. Although still holds on to her only hope holding her, her teddy bear.
