Storyboard Text

  • Naomi and Liam meet at a party of a mutual's friend (social demography) and they start a conversation with least personal information to begin with. This leads to a positive interaction and both would like to meet again.
  • Bali's pretty cool, heard it's beautiful there
  • Yeah, i'm from Bali have you ever been?
  • Once Naomi and Liam go on a date, they start to reciprocate a healthy amount of self-disclosure that renders each-other attractive to one another. Naomi realises how different Liam is to her last boyfriend who wasn't supportive of her views (comparison level).
  • I think that there needs to be more equality in our generation on all fronts
  • I totally agree with you!
  • For a while, the rewards of the relationship outweighed the costs, he gave her attention, stayed loyal and bought her a house among other things. He ended up proposing and soon they were a happily married coupled.
  • I love you so much
  • A couple years into their marriage Naomi notices how he doesn't provide as much as he had in the first yeas of their relationship. He is constantly away on business meetings (maintenance difficulties) and when he's home he is asleep all the time. She feels a lack of stimulation when he's home.
  • She decides to vent to her friend Rachel about the dissatisfaction she feels (intrapsychic phase) and the opinions of Rachel are communicated (social phase), Rachel offers advice on how Naomi should react - have chat with him and evaluate their relationship together.
  • Naomi took Rachel's advice and went home to have a talk with Liam (dyadic phase). It quickly turns unpleasant and Naomi feels the need to leave Liam and the relationship they had behind to start a new life. She continues with acceptance of the situation and finds a job redifining and bettering herself for the future (resurrection phase)
