  • It was Saturday, the first of January 1944 and they still found themselves in the annex.

  • YOU IN THERE! OPEN UP! OPEN UP!
  • It had been one year, five months, and twenty-five days and they were still hiding, the tension was high.
  • Falling Action
  • Everyone in the annex is getting very aggravated and they fight over a stolen loaf of bread. 
  • Resolution
  • The green police traced the stolen radio to the annex and begin banging on their door.
  • The green police break into the annex and give them 5 minutes to gather their things so Anne writes one final entry in her diary and leaves it.
  • Everyone is captured and put in concentration camps
