Cals dad drives a streetcar. We chose Cals dad because he drove the street car and they have a lot of meaning i the book.
These two animals are symbols of how much Cal cares. We chose the bunny because its how much Cal cares and the dog to represent McCluskeys dog and how Gretchen kept coming back.
