  • "Old enough to see the last of the streetcars: only be pictures in your books before long." (West 14)
  • Cal and Gretchen meet in study hall seventh period. This is important because this is important because this is where Cal decides to help Gretchen.
  • Cals dad drives a streetcar. We chose Cals dad because he drove the street car and they have a lot of meaning i the book.
  • These two animals are symbols of how much Cal cares. We chose the bunny because its how much Cal cares and the dog to represent McCluskeys dog and how Gretchen kept coming back.
